2013 Duxbury Pinot Noir Magnum

Named for our very good friend, the Duxbury vineyard sits along the cool Laguna Ridge overlooking the Laguna de Santa Rosa.

Stretching from River Road in Forestville to 116 just outside of Sebastopol, this narrow strip of Russian River Valley is defined by Goldridge and Altamont soils. The cool nights ensure the grape’s acidity, while the slight elevation allows for the fog to burn off early creating wonderful ripeness.

While lightly oaked, the heavy structure of this wine demanded a little extra time in the barrel to develop the delicate style that is a C. Donatiello Pinot Noir.
