First of all, YES, my hotel did have room for me last night.   Second, this is not so much a complaint after DAMN my feet hurt. Ok complaint time is over.
After a long day on my feet pouring wine I headed off to Ed’s Lobster Bar for dinner. I was joined by Howard, Jonah, and some salespeople. Ed had been at the winery last week, and just today sent a “Thank You” email. He said if I was ever in the neighborhood I should stop by. I can only imagine his shock when I did, 3 hours later!

For those of you who don’t know, I’ve been on the hunt for the world’s greatest lobster roll for years. If its on the menu, you can pretty much guarantee I’ll be ordering it. Ed’s was no exception, but first he sent out some roasted corn chowder. This was the tops. I loved it. Then came the lobster roll. It was good. REALLY GOOD. The best I’ve had in NYC. Almost the best I’ve had anywhere. But alas, but title still belongs to Tony’s Clam Shack in Quincy, MA. The search continues, but suggestions are welcome.
