Connie, Javier, and Adam work had to maintain the garden. Three – four days each week they are there cutting, pruning, trimming, planting & cleaning the gardens, pond, and redwood grove. I would offer them held, but I suspect I’d probably be more of a hindrance. Usually I’m coming up with ideas and asking them for follow through, having no concept of how difficult it will be for them to do so. That’s why I try so hard to pass on compliments and accolades when we receive them.

Recently Joseph Domingo, a clothing designer and fan of our wines, asked if he could do a photo shoot in the garden. It was very flattering to have someone who creates such beautiful clothing to want to feature them with our garden as a backdrop. I wish I had more commentary, but 1. fashion is not my thing (just look at the way i dress), and 2. the pictures say more than I ever could!   I look forward to seeing the final shots.
